1 Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest
1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport, and International Relations Committee.
1.2 Apologies were received from Heledd Fychan MS.
2 Motion to elect a temporary Chair in accordance with Standing Order 17.22
2.1 The Committee elected Alun Davies MS as temporary Chair in accordance with Standing Order 17.22 for the first four items of business at the meeting on 13 October 2022. Alun Davies MS was nominated by Hefin David MS.
3 One day inquiry on impact of increasing costs: Evidence session with sports bodies
3.1 The Committee heard evidence from representatives of Community Leisure UK, the Welsh Sports Association and Sport Wales.
4 One day inquiry on impact of increasing costs: Evidence session with cultural bodies
4.1 The Committee heard evidence from representatives of the Arts Council of Wales, the Music Venue Trust, and Creu Cymru.

6 Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting

7 Private debrief
7.1 The Committee considered the evidence received during items 3 and 4.
7.2 The Committee agreed to proceed to a Plenary debate on its Report, Levelling the Playing Field: A report on participation in sport and physical activity in disadvantaged areas.
7.3 The Committee agreed that the Chair would meet on its behalf with representatives of Oxfam Cymru and WEN Wales regarding the Feminist Scorecard 2022.
